I've got some new sketches for the series of narrative illustrations I'm doing...

Happy Birthday Jessica!!

this isn't your birthday present...these messages are entirely unrelated.

here's our first sketch of the little lady...note the anime influences trying to sneak their damn way back in! we'll purge them yet.



the second is the layout for the first and second pages, plus a sketch I won't be using for the house. The first panel has her looking out the window, she introduces herself, text will be mounted on the wall panel. The second, she's walking upstairs with text on the ceiling, talking about her parents.



And here's the layouts for the 3rd illustration...I haven't written the words yet, but I'll be assembling everything in photoshop later. this page is the "about Emily" page, sort of a science textbook style page.
